Shifting Time San Jose is an interactive video installation commissioned by the City of San Jose for the new terminal of the Norman Y. Mineta International Airport, which opened to the public in the summer of 2010. The piece combines archival footage of the area with recent footage, juxtaposing locations across time, as well people at work or play. Utterback's custom software allows viewers to move back in forth through the clips as they move around in front of the projection.
Role: Archival Film Research and Editing, Production and Installation. Supported Project Principal Camille Utterback with equipment research, technical diagrams, and administration.
